Just wanted to check in from the studio and share a bit of awesomeness with you all. As just announced, on August 28th, Diamond Lane will be taking a break from the studio to come out and drop some serious rock down on the Sunset Strip Music Festival 2010!! This annual street festival shuts down the streets of Hollywood and brings over 10,000 attendees to witness a slew of kick ass bands and a damn good time!! This year features Slash, The Smashing Pumpkins, Steel Panther, Semi Precious Weapons and MANY more!!
We’re super stoked to get out there live and in your face, bear down our claws on some brand new tracks and party it up with all you rockers!!

It seems like this post has been a million months in the making, and it seems like it’s been a million years since we started making this record. Fortunately, when things are handled the proper way, with precision and care, the results often speak for themselves. After a long process of relentless writing, soul searching, recording, and the like, we see some bright light appearing on the horizon. The end of last week marked the completion of pre-production with the wrapping of the demos for “World Without Heroes” —- !!! YES!!!
The undertaking of finalizing the tracks for the album is complete, and the commencement on the completion of said tracks is currently underway. There is still much ground to be covered, the most rocky and tedious terrain of all….but when the foundation is solid, just like a building, you can turn that frame into a skyscraper….
We’ll keep all you diehard Diamond Laniacs posted as the process rolls along, with sneak peeks of new tracks, photos and video from the studio…..if one thing’s for sure, this summer is going to be a HOT one!!!

So I just read that Aerosmith has announced an overseas tour for this summer….could this mean that Diamond Lane may get redemption from the missteps of last years Aerosmith / ZZ Top tour????? Time will tell!!!
Nonetheless, I’m excited to read that the band may have potentially mended their erroneous ways for the greatest cause of all; rock n roll!
…..and oh yeah….shhhhhhhhhhhhhh…….you just might be catching a misting of some new Diamond Lane cruising your way before too long……it’s getting hot in here……
Woah! It’s hard to believe that 2009 is officially wrapped and on the books!! It was truly a whirlwind of a year, and we look forward to bringing you all something new, fresh and exciting for 2010….you’ll be seeing and feeling Diamond Lane like never before, and we couldn’t be more pumped!
We wish all of our fans and friends a wonderful year, so go out and get what you want….this year is your year; it’s the Year of the Diamond. Make it happen~
