Overdue….but worth it….

It seems like this post has been a million months in the making, and it seems like it’s been a million years since we started making this record. Fortunately, when things are handled the proper way, with precision and care, the results often speak for themselves. After a long process of relentless writing, soul searching, recording, and the like, we see some bright light appearing on the horizon. The end of last week marked the completion of pre-production with the wrapping of the demos for “World Without Heroes” —- !!! YES!!!

The undertaking of finalizing the tracks for the album is complete, and the commencement on the completion of said tracks is currently underway. There is still much ground to be covered, the most rocky and tedious terrain of all….but when the foundation is solid, just like a building, you can turn that frame into a skyscraper….

We’ll keep all you diehard Diamond Laniacs posted as the process rolls along, with sneak peeks of new tracks, photos and video from the studio…..if one thing’s for sure, this summer is going to be a HOT one!!!

Woah! It’s hard to believe that 2009 is officially wrapped and on the books!! It was truly a whirlwind of a year, and we look forward to bringing you all something new, fresh and exciting for 2010….you’ll be seeing and feeling Diamond Lane like never before, and we couldn’t be more pumped!

We wish all of our fans and friends a wonderful year, so go out and get what you want….this year is your year; it’s the Year of the Diamond. Make it happen~

That’s right people! Diamond Lane is proud to announce that we will be rocking with Aerosmith & ZZ Top at 107.7 The Bone’s Bone Bash X on August 19th at The Sleep Train Pavilion in Concord!! This is going to be one HELLUVA show, so score your tickets now before this bad boy is totally sold out!!! Thanks for everyone who was pulling for us and we simply cannot wait to be a part of this amazing show!

Diamond Lane to open for Aerosmith and ZZ Top??? You decide!!!

We have just gotten wind that we have been chosen as a finalist by 107.7 The Bone in San Francisco to compete to open for AEROSMITH and ZZ TOP at Bone Bash X!!!!!!!!!!

This is an extraordinary opportunity and we need all of YOU to make this happen. Diamond Lane will be playing live THIS Sunday July 26th @ The Saddle Rack in Fremont, CA. The show starts at 3 p.m. (DL hits the stage at 6 p.m.!!!!) —- the way this works is that a total of 12 bands will play over 2 separate dates and the one band who receives the most votes will receive the honor to open for these 2 legendary bands! This next point is critical:

We need all of your faces in the crowd!! Without all of you coming out and showing your support and voting for Diamond Lane, we won’t have a shot in the world~ We need, we beg, we plead that you come out and support Diamond Lane this Sunday!! This will be our first Bay Area performance in over 2 years!!

I can personally guarantee that this will be a performance worth catching! Tons of new material and an even fiercer version of Diamond Lane than you could imagine! It’s a promise!! Besides, it’s a Sunday afternoon and there’s no better way to end the week~~~
